Miss Earth 2009 Winner

The 9^th Miss Earth Beauty Pageant is now over and out of the eighty candidates, Larissa Ramos of Brazil was crowned as the 9th Miss Earth winner. Final pageant was held at the Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Convention Center in the colorful island of Boracay Island. I was not able to attend the coronation night and so I am showing you instead some of my snaps of Miss Brazil during the Pre-pageant swimsuit competition.

Miss Earth Pre-Swimsuit Competition

We attended last night one of the Pre-Swimsuit competitions of the 2009 Miss Earth International. It was held in Mexico, Pampanga at The Lakeshore resort.

This was just one group and unfortunately, Miss Philippines was not among them. My favorites to win the Swimsuit competition were Miss Mexico, Miss Kosova and Miss Brazil.

The event was highlighted by performances of a live band (Circle of Faith), and Ronnie Liang of Pinoy Dream Academy.

Top five (5) best in swimsuit in this event will compete in the Final Swimsuit contest to be held in Fontana Resort. Honors went to Miss Switzerland, Miss Portugal, Miss Brazil, Miss Mexico and Miss France.
